Background
The owners are a vibrant family who live in MBR city. Their MBR city interiors and landscaping project reflects the delicate blend between traditional values and modern living.
I met with them and together we crafted a joint vision for their dream house, personalized to their tastes, standards and style.

The family wanted a flexible design where they could build great memories captured in photos, selfies and videos against the beautiful, lush background of their home.
The key drivers of the design were elegance, minimalism, serenity and harmony. They were looking to create a slice of paradise to host friends and family.

The MBR city interiors and landscaping design emerged as a result of their understated grace, generosity and friendliness.
Through several meetings, I absorbed the essence of who they are, how they live and how they entertain. My job was to permeate these values into the design.

The design team at Milestone worked painstakingly to craft every detail of the indoor and outdoor spaces in partnership with the owners.
This MBR city interiors and landscape design is a fluid, seamless experience that brings the client’s hopes, dreams and vision to life.

The entrance is warm and inviting, with a hint of grandeur indicated by the size of the double height entrance space.
We used subtle lighting to bring wall art to life and create a welcoming glow at the entrance to the house.

The interior is bright and airy and enjoys an open plan design with very few restricting walls.
Light, neutral colors paired with earthy wood accents makes for an elegant and relaxing living room space.

The open dining room is around the corner from the living room. We used the same neutral shades used in the living room to maintain design harmony.
The attention to detail is evident in the bespoke wooden dining table embedded with organic shaped glass. The wall art and the pair of floor mounted art pieces tell a story and communicate the client’s unique personality.

The bar is usually the entertainment hub of any home and this one is no different.
Bathed in natural light, the double height space is emphasized by an impressive piece of art that extends almost to the ceiling.
As with the other spaces in this MBR city interiors and landscaping design, the space is functional and visually pleasing, but with an underlying hint of glamour.

Modern, but functional, the invisible glass railing for the marble clad stairs gives it an open, airy vibe. The space under the stairs is creatively utilized for a beautiful display.

A pale blue accent wall, decorated with a flock of birds in flight, introduces an element of fun to this circulation space. It also introduces blue as an accent color, which we see more of on the upper level.
Upper Level

On the upper floor, a comfortable TV room is the ideal spot for movie nights. Furnished in tones of white, beige and warm wood, this room is brightened by a set of colorful artwork, which brings in a splash of color.

Each bedroom on the upper level has its own charm and personality.
In this bedroom, a dramatic printed wallpaper accentuates one long wall of the room opposite the bed. The colors of the wallpaper pick up on the colors of the artwork on the opposite wall, showing the level of thought put into accessorizing the spaces.

The above bedroom is soothing in tones of beige ( Oak Venner) that are brought to the fore by warm lighting.
A cozy seating nook and work space makes this space functional and relaxing. Low seating acts as an extra bed for the young kids to sleep in their parent’s room when needed.

A blue accent wall adds punch to the master bedroom. Paired with warm wooden floors and furniture, the room is cozy and luxurious with its own walk-in-closet that is built behind the wall to add additional wardrobe space then what was provided by the Developer.

The children’s bedroom is playful and bright with bright blue accents, sheer white curtains and a fun bed arrangement.
Hidden storage spaces and displays provide ample places to store things, keeping the room free from clutter. Pull out bed allows the maids bed to be pulled out so she can sleep in the same room at night to look after the kids.
Charcoal paint on the wall creates a nice writing board for kids and trains them to write only in the designated area.

The outdoor areas are as inviting and comfortably furnished as the interiors. The rectangular pool shape conforms to the shape of the plot and the adjacent house.

A built-in barbeque area and covered dining cum pool table makes this pool area the life of the party. The clean, minimal design makes it great for parties or for family enjoyment.

The wide side yard makes a great space for a bar and covered pavilion that can be used for additional seating. Children can play on the lawn that spans between both structures.
The design is kept flexible so that a catering counter can be set up in case the owners want to entertain large groups of people.

For the same reason, a spacious built-in seating offers a central entertainment spot and can easily accommodate 10 people.
Comfortable, colorful cushions brighten the space. Warm concealed LED strip lighting provides ample light and gives the space a warm, cozy look.

Lighting transforms the spaces in this MBR city interiors and landscaping project.
At night, the spaces are well lit, without being overly bright. This creates an ambience that is soothing and relaxing, while the amount of light also ensures safety.
